My first Fedora Classroom

Last Monday I gave my first online talk/class.  You can read about it in this article in Fedora Magazine.

It was streamed on Youtube in Fedora Channel and you can see the recording there.  My voice sounds horrible, way worse than what I thought, and way too loud.  I’m truly sorry for that, because my previous laptop had a really shitty mic and I got used to shout at it and now I do the same with my new laptop despite it has a perfect microphone built-in.  That probably shows how often I record myself….

There’s also a previous bit where you can see me typing something and musing, because I was totally unaware I was already streaming.  Sorry for that too.

And the connection was utter crap, so every so often it just gets stuck or everything is fussy…  well, what can I say?  Sorry for that too.

Anyway, if you’re interested in reading the content  (which is way better than the recording and has the extra benefit of not hearing my voice), I had uploaded my notes, the presentation and the questions&answers round to my cloud, so you can download them and quietly learn.  If you want to use part or all of the material, please, quote the source and drop me a message.  I’ll be happy to see that what I did is useful to others!

As usual, thanks for reading!
