Technical update (halfway solution)

Here is a technical update to the previous post.  I’m adding the two related bugs to this issue and a list of specs from my computer.

The Bugs:

None of them was started by me but as you can see I commented on them and they have been there without answer for a long time.

Touchpad, clickpad No edge scrolling

My Specs:

A 14″  Dell Latitude E6500 laptop. Gallium 0.4 on NV98 (Nvidia video card). 4GB RAM, 250GB hard disk, Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz × 2 processor.  Gnome 3.22.2 on Fedora 25 Workstation (upgraded from F24 via DNF).

Hope this is of any use to fix the problem.
